Delay for next update
Hiya.
I'm wanting to apologize in advance since I won't be able to have this build ready for the 15th of this month like I had planned for.
I am working on it and do have a majority of the build done. Unfortunately, due to having to take extra days off when my wrists are hurting, having several doctor's appointments this past month, and also having to rewrite scenes multiple times to get them right, I don't have the build close enough to release for me to be able to post the update on Thursday. I'd rather take an extra couple of weeks to make sure I can release a good build rather than releasing one that's rushed and incomplete.
The latest this build should be out by should be August 15th. I'm shooting for a release before then, but I also want to set that as a deadline for myself so that you all know what to expect.
For now, I shall leave you all with a few sprites that my artist, Coza, has drawn.
The first one is Benji, Marshall's roommate, and he will be appearing in this upcoming update.
The next is Blake, Tracy's boss from the set of short stories I posted last month. He won't be appearing in the VN for a long time, but I figured getting a sprite of him for people to have as a reference isn't a bad idea. Especially since I would need the sprite at some point anyway.
And last is a full sprite for Jeffrey. We took some of the critique and feedback people have given about Jeffrey's sprite and so Coza has redrawn Jeffrey from scratch. If people like the sprite, I plan on getting Coza to at some point redo Jeffrey's expression sprites so that I can update them. If you don't like the new sprite, feel free to let me know as well so we can make changes once we get to that point.
I plan on having Coza draw two more character sprites in the next couple of weeks as well. One for Parker, and one for Meimaru. Chances are, neither will ever actually be used in the VN, but I wanted to have art of each of the characters to use as references. Besides, what's the fun in having characters in a visual novel if nobody ever gets to see them?

I enjoy Jeffrey's new look and I doubt it will be too difficult to somewhat replicate his old expressions in the new style. It's always good to have a full sprite of your MC just in case you change perspectives and the like.
Nooooo, i loved Jeffrey's old sprite so much. :( He had that special face expression always. <3
Also, just take your time. Art is never something what must being rushed. :)

Take all of the time you need, from one writer to another rushed content is the worst. You know you can do better if you didn't have to rush to meet the deadline, life gets in way and there's nothing we can do about it. It'll be released when the time is right. My birthday is August 10th I'll just consider it a Belated birthday gift. Just kidding, Lol ^_^
Blake's wrist looks very twisted. Unless that's a part of their design, in which case, nevermind me.
Nah, I definitely agree. I'm wanting to see if I can have Coza fix it at some point.

Jeffery sprites were fine, but this one is lineless version, more detail from shading and lighting! Lion is awesome! Don't feel too rushed, as I too want quality over quantity. Though... Parker... ... ...
I really dig Jeffrey’s new look, and the other sprites look really nice as well!
