Also, this game feels so similar to Echo, minus the constant underlying sense of existential dread... I'll just say I'm glad for this game's sense of humor because DAMN does Echo get depressing...
Sorry for the late reply. While I have played and do enjoy Echo, it was not actually my inspiration. Fueled by Insanity is a story I came up with 8 years ago and am now making into a visual novel. With that said, I was working on a parody version of Echo a while back, so it doesn't surprise me if my writing style is more similar to it than I realize.
this is a really interesting read. I feel like more VN's should have more serious topics because they make the story more interesting like this one. I can't wait for future updates

I dream a lot, like the main character does, but unlike him, I never lucid dream. Not sure how I'd cope with that. So I find the dream sequences interesting.
The way that this update's dream ended literally jumpscared me and there was no sound or music, just a creepy face. I think it got me because I looked away accidently pressing space, and it gave chills. I don't even think it was suppose to be a jumpscare dammit. good job there.
Regardless of that embarrassing moment, I'm not done the latest update, but I can already say I'm still really enjoying this vn. Great job keeping the atmosphere and hype up! I'm shook.

Here was hope for being able to date a demon... ;/ or maybe that black dude is Caijoru's evil twin? Although, having looked at both endings, I'm not sure I would call Caijoru a good guy. I'm not quite sure what's causing your save issue. What version are you playing it on? PC? Android? Mac? Does the error happen if you start from a new game as well?
Heck, this VN is kind of depresing. Not in in a bad way, It's actually great. What I mean is to play in the shoes of Jeffrey. It leaves me with a empty feeling in my stomach. It's clear, this is well written. Good work :

I like what i played so far! Got to the end. I want more! All the characters are interesting and i want to know more about them^^, What a great start! I found nothing "negative" to say about anything here. It's all really well done :) Cant wait for the next part :D
I enjoyed this quite a tad. The protag's portrait needs a change though. Feels too small and is more like a decoration than an actual way of seeing his facial expressions.
I can't say too much on this yet without spoiling stuff, and because few characters have been introduced so far, however there are planned to be about six different characters you can get close to, some more than others. With that said, Fueled by Insanity is not planned to be a dating sim, though things are subject to change over time.
