Fueled by Insanity
Had my month off and I'm ready to get back to work
Hiya!
I just wanted to notify you all that I'm back from my one month hiatus and am excited and ready to get back to working on Fueled by Insanity. The time off helped a ton with getting me into a better mindset, and also gave me extra time to plan out what to do for the next update.
My plan, currently, will be to alternate between two separate paths now, those being if you chose to accept or reject Caijoru's offer. The update on November 15th will continue down the path in which the player accepted his offer, while the update on December 15th will continue down the path in which the player rejected his offer. I figure if I alternate like this, I can focus all of my attention each month towards one specific route, rather than risking the writing quality suffering if I were to try to do both at once every month.
I would like to thank everyone who responded to the survey at the end of build 0.05, as it helps me to identify where I need to improve. I figure I'll show you guys some of the data as well, since it's fun to see.
The results for favorite character were fairly close between Jeffrey, Daren, and Caijoru, with Ted not too far behind.
The results for least-favorite character were a landslide, probably to the surprise of no one.
More than 9/10ths of players chose to accept Caijoru's offer, and so I'll be working on that route first.
Anyways, I'm not quite sure what to say to end this devlog, so I'll say thank you to all of you for sticking around, and I hope you guys will enjoy my future updates!

Could someone tell me who is the least favourite character? my colourblindness is making it hard to tell whether it's Jesse, Ted, or Caijoru

Sorry if the colors didn't play nicely. I don't think Google Forms lets me choose which colors are which unfortunately.

Supprised only 8% rejected his offer, he's a kitsune a trickster spirit making deals with them always ends badly also he literally tortured you. Like why would i ever agree to that its just the option of death or tortured when you sleep. At least you're still alive and only get tortured at night rathen then just dead.
I can't speak for others, but I know that my reasoning for making a deal with him was simply because we're clearly dealing with some supernatural shit, and so far none of our other friends have displayed any particular talent in that area, so the assistance of a trickster spirit will probably be useful until we can actually deal with whatever's happening.
We also don't really know the 'why' behind any of the supernatural stuff, so just being on his good side so that he explains some things will almost certainly be helpful. I realise we can't trust him as far as we can throw him, but I'd rather be stabbed by someone I suspect than be stabbed by someone I know nothing about.
I agree. Having a supernatural “friend” is better than having nothing. (At least in this scenario)
