Hiya! Build 0.07 is finally here, and I'm hoping you all enjoy it.

This build is 10k words, bringing the story up to a total of about 77k words so far. This build progresses from the Reject path and starts off Ted's and Daren's routes on this path. It also includes one new cg, one new music track and a few new expression sprites.

I have plans to add in new music tracks later that I was unable to finish in time, as well as get more expressions and some tweaks to the new cg when possible.

I'd like to thank everyone who's been submitting survey results. The feedback does really help a lot with letting me know where to focus and what people's opinions of the story are so far. I know a couple people have concerns about the possibility of people submitting multiple responses to skew the results, and that it may cause me to ignore certain characters based on what the poll results say. I can understand your concerns, and I will say that I will not be ignoring specific characters based on popularity. Survey responses mostly let me know if I'm doing a good job with writing/representing characters, and if I need to improve them or make changes. I enjoy writing each of these characters and will make sure they each will get their well-deserved screen time. I've got big plans for everyone.

Let me know if you encounter any errors or other issues, or if there's anything you think needs improving. I'm happy and willing to help if there's anything I can do.

And now for the part where I vent slightly over how trying to work on compiling builds and stuff like that while tired and out of it can be an exercise in frustration. Ren'py can be very finicky to work with sometimes, and tiny changes can cause things such as save files to break. Let's just say that I wound up having to spend 4 hours on trying to fix something that I somehow broke, and in the end the best solution I came up with was to basically rebuild a bunch of stuff manually. Everything should be working again, at least. I've playtested this build so many times tonight that I could use a good day or two off from seeing it. Still, I'm really glad I was able to get this build out!

-What I'm planning for next month's build: Hopefully another 10k words if I'm able to. I'm shooting for getting another two cgs from Coza, as well as hopefully finding the time and energy to finish some of the music tracks I've been wanting to add. I plan to write the branch on the Accept path for players to be able to spend Day 6 with Marshall and Ted, as well as some other scenes.

I would ideally like to be able to guarantee that all of that gets done for next month, but I don't have a way to be sure at the moment. I had about a month and a half of feeling fine and healthy, but my infection has returned as of last Friday, so I'm back on antibiotics and painkillers again. This one doesn't feel nearly as bad as the last, so I'm hoping it won't last too long. I'm able to function through it at the moment, but if I end up feeling worse later, I'll take some days off. I'll keep you all updated so you'll know what to expect.

For now, I shall go to sleep. It's well past midnight for me, and I could use some sleep. I hope you guys enjoy the new build, and I look forward to working on the next!
