Hiya.

I wanted to let all of you know how things are going so far. I am still aiming to get the 0.13 build out by the end of this month. That is my goal.

Unfortunately, I cannot give a 100% guarantee on that. I won't go into too much detail, but my grandmother-in-law's health has started declining rapidly over the past few weeks. A lot of my time has been spent looking after her when she's at home and going to visit her when she's in the hospital. Taking care of her is my top priority. There is a chance that with time, she'll get better, but that chance does seem slim at the moment.

Aside from that, I am still working on this upcoming update. I've said before that this update will be the end of the Accept - Daren route and that it splits into three subroutes, one for each of the members of Jeffrey's friend group. Tracy's subroute is fully finished and I'm completely happy with how it's turned out. Marshall's is almost complete. I just need to improve the writing in some sections. Sean's is also written but I haven't proofread it yet and I'm expecting some scenes to need some changes. So for the most part, the writing is mostly done. At the moment, this totals to 15,000 words for this upcoming update.

Sarah has finished all the art assets that were needed, so I don't need to worry about anything on that end. There are a couple more things I'm hoping will be finished by the time the update goes out, but it won't hurt anything if they aren't.

Music. I've not completed any music tracks yet, and that's where I'm mostly stressing. I've tried working on music for the update but none of it has sounded right yet. I did finally get an idea for at least the credits theme, so hopefully that will turn out well. I will definitely need to work on other music for this update. I just need to work out how it should all sound.

Other misc things that I've either done or need to do. I need to download some sound effects for some scenes. I know I've been slacking a bit on sound design in recent builds, so I'm trying to get better about that. I have not written any side stories yet. I have ideas and I really would like to include some, but they'll either be done on time or they won't. I don't want to end up delaying the update for longer than I have to.

I've been working on revamping the character bio screens. I won't go into too much detail yet because things are subject to change, but I will post a screenshot of basically what to expect.

But yeah. to summarize: life stuff is happening and slowing stuff down. Work is still progressing. I hoping to get the update out by the end of this month.
